  • Cathedral of Our Lady of La Paz

    The construction of the current temple was started in 1861 by order of Bishop Juan Francisco Escalante y Moreno, in the place where the Order of Jesuit Friars had founded a mission during the eighteenth century, the Cathedral of Our Lady of La Paz is the headquarters of the Diocese of La Paz. It is located in the center of the city, at the intersection between Calle Revolución de 1910 and Calle 5 de Mayo, in front of the Jardin Velazco. Its two towers were erected respectively in 1910 and 1920. Its facade is simple and inside you can admire a replica of the tabernacle of St. Peter's Basilica in Rome, as well as beautiful altarpieces dating from the 18th century.

  • La Paz Boardwalk

    The La Paz boardwalk is considered one of the best boardwalks in Mexico for its beautiful bronze sculptures that represent marine life. Mainly highlighting "The Humpback Whale and the Mermaid" and "The Old Man and the Sea".
    In it, you will appreciate the best sunsets and the most beautiful sunsets in the country.
    Located on Paseo Álvaro Obregón avenue, this boardwalk has an approximate length of 5kms built in the 1920s and remodeled to host cultural and sporting events, such as the famous La Paz Carnival, Triathlons, Marathons, Nautical Parades, car show and much more.
    When walking with your family on the La Paz boardwalk you will find restaurants, shops, craft shops, bars, yachts, and small fishing boats.

  • Balandra Beach

    Located about 30 mins. (17 miles) east of the city of La Paz is Balandra Beach, which has remained for more than a decade as one of the most beautiful beaches in Mexico, holding this title in 2019.


    White sand, crystal clear, calm, and shallow waters that allow visitors to enter up to 500 meters into the sea with water to the knees, making it safe for all ages. Where you can swim quietly, the soft, and do other activities such as kayaking, stand-up paddleboard, and snorkeling.


    Other characteristics of Balandra is the peaceful landscape and the icon of the destination, the rock called El Hongo, which has this particular shape due to the erosion process caused by waves and ocean currents, Balandra is the ideal setting to admire the sunsets and then enjoy the night sky full of stars.

  • Whale Shark

    Despite being the largest fish in the world, reaching about 41 feet, it is known as the gentle giant of the seas due to its friendly and peaceful nature, this allows us to swim by its side and observe the beauty and the immensity of its figure in its natural habitat when it visits the Bay of La Paz in the season from October to April.

  • Espíritu Santo Island

    Espiritu Santo island has been a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site since 2005 and a National Park since 2007.

    Due to its immense biodiversity, with 32 species of reptiles registered, 98 species of birds, 16 endemic species, in addition to a colony of about 350 sea lions that can be observed around its coasts.

    When visiting the island you can snorkel and swim with sea lions in their natural habitat, observe thousands of multicolored fish, birds, coral reefs, rock formations, and paradisiacal beaches.
